Focus on Haiti
Pax Christi USA works very closely with our sister section, Pax Christi Haiti, in providing analysis on the
changing political and socio-economic situation in Haiti, and developing
resource materials for prayer, study and action. Our focus represents
a deep commitment of Pax Christi USA to the people of Haiti since 1985, from our campaign Cry for Justice, through the work of the Haiti Task Force, and up to this present moment.
Pax Christi USA works to support the agenda and vision of Pax Christi Haiti, while focusing on education, advocacy and networking here in our own country in order to help bring peace and justice to Haiti.
Pax Christi USA works in solidarity with other advocates for just
legislation affecting the people of Haiti and strongly networks with:
Quixote Center/Haiti Reborn, Haiti Action Committee, Jubilee USA Network,
and grassroots groups in Haiti such as Lambi and Fonkoze.
