    In a speech given March 11, 2009 in Great Falls, Montana, Bishop Gabino Zavala formally announced our campaign on nuclear disarmament.

    In October 2008, Pax Christi USA members received a special 12-page newsletter announcing the PCUSA campaign, "A New Moment for Nuclear Disarmament," which included resources, analysis, and a sign-up form to participate in the initiative.

    With the Obama administration, we have the opportunity to impact future U.S. nuclear policy and undo some of the dangerous decisions made in the recent past.
